Unless otherwise indicated, all events are free and open to the public and begin at Blue Sky parking lot. Bring your own water as there is no drinking water available in Blue Sky.

sunday, february 15 - 8:00 am. count the birds in blue sky’s backyard
Join docent Celeste Larson to discover how many winged residents we can find in the Blue Sky Ecological Reserve. It's the Great Backyard Bird Count this weekend! The group will follow along the main trail, the old campground and the creekside trail for about 2 to 3 miles at an easy pace to count birds at Blue Sky. We could use a good bird's eye for sure, but all eyes are welcome.

Spring is the season of renewal and a time when nature wakes up from her winter slumber and provides us a dazzling display of wildflowers. Visit with us at the kiosk on the main trail for more information on spring at Blue Sky!
sunday, april 15- 6:30 or 7:00 am. Spring bird count
Join us for our annual Blue Sky bird count. Some bird identification ability is helpful but not necessary. We monitor several locations. Start time at Blue Sky parking lot is either 6:30 am or 7:00 am depending on location. We will gather again at 10:00 am to tally results and enjoy refreshments. saturday, april 25- 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Torretto trail maintenance
Our Torretto Trail needs some care - trimming brush and cleaning signage. We are looking for volunteers to help and would love your support. No experience is required - just a willingness to help.
